A Cloud Computing Platform Based on P2P

Abstract : A Cloud Computing Platform Based on P2P

Cloud Computing is Internet-Based Computing, whereby shared resources, software and information are provided to computers and other devices on-demand. Cloud Computing platform is a set of Scalable, large-scale data server clusters which provide computing and storage services. In recent years, the technology of cloud computing has been widely applied in e-business, e-education, etc. The cloud storage is a relatively basic and widely applied service which can provide users with stable, massive data storage space.
The architecture of current Cloud Computing system is a central structured one, all data nodes must be indexed by a master server which may become bottleneck of the system. In the presentation ahead, we will explore the traditional Google File System (GFS) and its disadvantages. The presentation focuses on the new cloud storage architecture based on P2P and design a prototype system. The advantages of this new system over GFS is discussed in the presentation ahead....

  1. Here are my comments.
Very few slides (7/25) are related to the topic of seminar and 2 of them (9,10) donot contain any information at all
There is no mention on " P2P" computing in any of references u have used
    On a scale of 1 - 10 u may get 1.
